Pilgrims on the Way of Truth

It Begins!

These first days of our 2018-2019 school year were absolutely amazing! The students have such a wonderful energy and seemed to all find their rhythm with the school day!

With all the planning, cleaning, decorating, and copying - it all needs the spirit that only having our students in our halls and classrooms can provide! As teachers, THEY are why we are here! We teach FOR them. We are so grateful you share your students with us here at Marian Central. Thank you for the opportunity!

Gentle Reminders About Dress Code

As some students can attest - this week was filled with "gentle reminders" to adhere to our school dress code policy concerning hair length and shaving (for the young men.) We have all given the same warning: have your hair cut (or returned to natural hair color) by Monday, August 20th - or a detention will be issued Monday afternoon, and any subsequent day thereafter (progressive consequences.)

Thank you so much for continually supporting our enforcement of our Student Handbook.

According to the Student Handbook (page 34) for all boys:

Hair must be neat and combed at all times and no longer than the eyebrows in front, top of the collar in the back, and top of ears on the sides. Hair must be of the student's natural color. Ponytails, shags, multi-layered cuts are not acceptable. Spiked (hair height exceeding 2") or bleached hair is not acceptable. Severe styles (including shaved part(s) of the head are not acceptable. Hair restriction devices (headbands, rubber-bands, etc.) are prohibited.

All families are welcome to join us for our annual Back-to-School Night on August 28th! Come meet all your student's teachers, and follow an abbreviated version of your student's schedule!
