The Germantown Board of Education will be holding its next meeting on Tuesday, January 31st. During this meeting, they will be discussing several important topics including policy revisions, budget amendments, and course approvals. One of the key agenda items for this meeting is the recognition of our All-State Band, Choir, and Orchestra students. At Dogwood, our dolphins celebrated the 100th day of school with 100-year old kindergartners. They had been counting down the days and were excited to celebrate this milestone with their classmates.

Our Foxes had a blast last weekend at Forest Hill Elementary School's daddy daughter dance with a disco theme. It was a great opportunity for dads and daughters to bond and have fun together. We are grateful for all the participants who made this event a success.

On another note, we would like to give you an inside look at the Forest Hill Elementary School Kindness Club. This group of students is doing an amazing job spreading kindness and positivity throughout our school community. We are so proud of the impact they are making and the positive change they are creating.

This week, GMSD is taking the moment to shine the spotlight on one of our very own cheerleaders, Izzy Hirsch. She is a true athlete and role model for her peers, and we are proud to have her representing our school as the team heads to the national championship later this month.

Over the weekend they celebrated a huge win in Birmingham. They brought home 1st place in Hip Hop, 2nd place in Game Day and Pom. This is a huge accomplishment and we are so proud of our students for their hard work and dedication.

We also want to take a moment to wish our pom squads the best of luck as they make their way to Orlando, Florida to compete in the national UDA championship. We know they will represent our school with excellence. Break a leg, Mustangs!
