Camp Grady Spruce Chaperones
We will have a meeting for chaperones Wednesday, October 3rd at 5:00 pm in the library. If you have not completed the Background check please do so ASAP. Please use the following link. Thank you for volunteering to help with Camp Grady.

On Monday, October 15th we will meet in the cafeteria. Students will not go to their homeroom. Students will need ...
- sack lunch and drink in backpack
- trash bags with with bedding and clothing (see Packing List below)
- backpack - refillable water bottle, lunch/drink, Ball point pen, journal (distributed Monday in cafe), flashlight, hat (optional)

Label Every Item with Your Child's Name
Sleeping bag and pillow.
Blanket and Bottom sheet are nice to have as well!
Toiletries: Deodorant, Shampoo, Soap, Toothbrush, Toothpaste, chapstick, flip flops.
Towel and washcloth
Five pairs of socks
Three pairs of undergarments
Comfortable athletic shoes and an extra pair in case of wetness.
Three changes of clothes. (must have long pants for horseback riding)
One set of pajamas
Coat, Mittens, Scarves and Warm head covers (depends on weather)
Thermals are great to have! (depends on weather)
Backpack with Flashlight, Camera, Journal, Water Bottle and a Ball Point Pen.
1 extra garbage bag.
Rain Poncho
Sunscreen
Fleece outer wear or a hearty jacket.
Ball cap
Flashlight (check your batteries)
Re-fillable water bottle or canteen.

*We are an Outdoor Education program so we are outside for most of the day so dress in layers “Dress like an Onion”
Being comfortable is very important!
Backpacks are a must!
Everything on the pack list should fit into a large trash bag. No suitcases or duffel bags.
*All water at YMCA Camp Grady Spruce is potable. Please avoid bringing pre-bottled water. The daily water consumption level per student and adult is around one gallon.
*The distribution and administration of regularly scheduled medications should follow set school protocols.
* Please do not bring small electronics.
*NO CELL PHONES.
