Hispanic Heritage Month

Each year, Americans observe National Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15th to October 15th, by celebrating the histories, cultures, and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America. Bloomingdale Avenue School will be participating in this celebration by focusing on the history of this commemorative month and spotlighting some contributions made by change makers of the Latinx community.

Gnome Your Home

The Class of 2026 has launched a new fundraiser for the Cranford community "Gnome Your Home"!

Did you know that some people consider gnomes good luck? Others have viewed them as protectors for gardens and homes. We happen to think they are simply fun and therefore perfect for a fundraiser (see what we did there LOL)

For $20 you can send 2 gnomes to your home (or surprise a Cranford friend), you can also add additional gnomes for $5 each. Gnomes are 10x4x3 and will be placed in cellophane bags and hidden on your property. Our "Gnomers" will leave a note inviting you or your friends' family to start the hunt for the gnomes. This is a fun way to welcome the Fall season and support the Class of 2026! Gnoming will take place on weekday evenings starting September 28th and ending October 5th.

If you are interested, please fill out the reservation form:

Thank you so much,
