Welcome to Week 7. We have a few events happening this week, please read on for more details.
1. Teacher and Staff Appreciations Week (May 1-May 5)
This week we celebrate teacher and staff appreciation. We are asking for your help showing your child's teacher how much they are appreciated this week by participating in the dress up days below and with the activities.
Monday- Write your teacher a Thank you letter or card.
Tuesday- Pick a flower or bring a flower.
Wednesday- Bring a salty or sweet treat.
Thursday- Bring your teacher their favorite soft drink, coffee, or tea.
Friday- Bring your teacher their favorite "pamper" item.
2. PK-2nd Grade End of the Year State Testing (mClass/Istation Reading, Lectura, Math)
All our PK-2nd grade students will be completing the end of the year testing for reading and math over the next few weeks. We encourage you to talk to your child to do their best and to show what they know.
3. 2023-2024 New Student Registration
Please help us get the word out, Head Start, Pre-Kinder & Kinder New student registrations are now open. Stop by our school office to register or give us a call for more information.
Registration Checklist for All New Students
- Birth Certificate.
- Drivers License/Government Issued ID (Parent/Guardian)
- Immunization Record.
- Proof of Residency. Utility Bill AND Tax Statement/Lease Agreement OR. Residency Approval Form (Provided by Residency Office)
- Social Security Card (student)

Attendance Contest - Be at school everyday from March 20-May 11 & win a fieldtrip!

Kinder: 94.56%
1st Grade: 94.79%
2nd Grade: 96.38%
Total: 95.43%

These are in addition to the walking trail & bus terminal installed this past year. | Kinder Science Rocks! | Día de los Niños, día de los Libros Event TISD got to showcase the amazing things happening in our district at the Saturday's community event in El Paso.
