Visible Learning for Teachers:
Maximizing Impact on Learning based on John Hattie's Work
About this workshop...
Every minute in the classroom is precious time to make an impact on students. Students have varying needs and backgrounds. This workshop will help you implement research based strategies from John Hattieās work to help you get the most out of the time you have with students. To make teaching and learning visible requires the teacher to become both evaluator and activator. This interactive workshop will to do just that. Visible Learning maximizes the impact on learning resulting in a greater likelihood of all students reaching higher achievement levels. Participants will leave this session with a wide range of research based learning strategies that make teaching and learning visible, resulting in students building surface knowledge, deep knowledge and conceptual understanding.
