Dual Enrollment Details
Fall 2021
Welcome New Dual Enrollment Students!
Dual enrollment is a great opportunity for students to begin their college career while still in high school. Most students take classes at FHS as part of their regular school day. These classes meet high school graduation requirements AND earn college credits that can be transferred to other colleges or universities after graduation.
FHS students earned a total of 2,403 college credit hours through dual enrollment in School Year 2020—21!
What Classes Can My Student Take?
Dual Enrollment (DE) classes at FHS for FALL 2021 are

AP World History 2
AP US History

What's the difference between AP and DE?
Dual enrollment takes the guesswork out of earning college credit while in high school. The student knows what course they're earning credit for and how many credits it's worth. Those credits can be transferred to other colleges or universities after high school.
How do we get started?

1. Fill out the application to LFCC
2. Choose "I am a high school student dual enrolling for the first time"
3. After you submit your application, make note of your LFCC ID number, username and temporary password.
