Please take a moment to make sure your child has extra masks in their bag. The masks often break or drop on the ground during the day and students then require a new one.

CMS Time Schedules

Regular Schedule:

8:50-3:50

Parent drop off is at 8:40 and pick up starts at 3:40.


Delayed Opening Schedule:

10:50-3:50

Bus pick up times are two hours later than normal.

Parent drop off is at 10:40.


Early Dismissal Schedule:

8:50-1:00

If you need to pick up your child earlier than the regular dismissal time, you MUST be at the office prior to 3:20.


If you arrive after 3:20, your student will be dismissed at 3:50 at the regular Parent Pick Up Door.


We can not longer accommodate pick ups between 3:20- 3:50 because it is delaying our dismissal process.

Afternoon Pick Up Reminders:

  • If your child is a pick up EVERY DAY please send one note in to alert the office.
  • Please call the office or send a note if you are picking up your child early.
  • When parking for Parent Pick Up, do not park in bus lanes. Please park around the outer edge or in a designated spot.

Transportation

All bus information is located in your Realtime account. Be sure to log in from a computer, and not the app, to see the pick up and drop off times and locations.


If a specific bus is running late, transportation will send out an alert.


CMS will send an alert daily once all the busses have left.

It is essential that you update your email, contact information, emergency contacts, and media release forms. Please watch the Realtime Parent Directions presentation below for support.

CMS ROOM PARENT VOLUNTEERS

Dear Parent/Guardian:

Thinking about volunteering to be a room parent for your child’s classroom this year? This program is a great bridge between home and school. You will have the opportunity to develop a good relationship with your child’s teacher and attend school functions. CMS classes will be allowed ONE room parent per class.

A room parent coordinates with class families and the teachers to help provide THREE fun parties during the school year.


Here are just a few ways a room parent can help out:


  • Plan 3 parties/activities for Halloween, Winter and End of Year!
  • Develop a parent contact list and send out emails to keep families up to date on Classroom/CMS needs
  • Coordinate food and supplies for classroom parties.
  • Organize teacher appreciation gifts



Once a parent for each class has been identified, we will hold a virtual meeting to go over guidelines and answer questions. Please note, if you have more than one child in the school, you would only be allowed to be the room parent for one class. In order to save on costs and be environmentally friendly, all communications going forward will be electronic. A valid email address is necessary in order to be a Room Parent.

School Lunches

Until further notice, breakfast and lunch will be free to all students.


There is no ordering online, teachers will take lunch orders from students in class each morning.
