It will be a busy week.

All students in K through 8th grade should wear their required RED UNIFORM SHIRT.

Thursday evening, April 5th is also REPORT CARD NIGHT. Please make plans for a parent or guardian to come to school to meet with your child's teacher(s) to pick up the report card and have a brief meeting.

We will open the doors at 4PM and we will leave promptly at 6:30PM. If you arrive late you likely not be able to meet with teachers so please do not plan to arrive late.

Since other parents will be waiting, meetings must be kept short. If you need a longer time, all of our teachers will be glad to schedule a conference on another day.

If you have your children with you, please keep them under control so that everyone can hear and concentrate.

Our Maundy Thursday service which includes a reenactment of the Last Supper, will be held tonight beginning at 7:15

Tomorrow evening, please join us at our Good Friday Tenebrae Service beginning at 7:15. This is a very moving service of darkness which also includes an opportunity to nail your sins to a cross.

On Easter Sunday, there are two opportunities to worship. At 7AM, there will be a Sunrise Service which is a lovely way to begin Easter Sunday. Our traditional Easter Service will begin at 10:30AM. There will be an egg hunt for children PK through 5th grade at 9:15AM, as well as a lite continental breakfast served in our auditorium.

Holy Cross is selected as "Program of the Year" by the Children's Trust

The early childhood department of Holy Cross Lutheran School was recently selected as "Program of the Year" by the Children's Trust as a result of our involvement with the Quality Counts Early Childhood Rating program. Our program has a five star rating. This is a tremendous honor and we are so proud of our teachers and other early childhood department staff. We will be honored at a banquet at Jungle Island in June. Congratulations to our staff for this tremendous accomplishment.
