COVID-19 4-H Update

June 1, 2021

Dear 4-H Families:

We received approval from university leadership today to modify the COVID-19 guidance. The following is for 4-H club meetings and events.

Effective June 1, 2021

  • Face masks are not required to be worn inside or outside at 4-H club meetings, programs, and activities. However, we are encouraging families to do whatever is most comfortable for them regarding masks.

  • Face masks are strongly recommended for those who are not yet fully vaccinated

  • Individuals and/or family members may not attend if they or anyone living in their household is experiencing any of the following symptoms: fever, cough, shortness of breath, loss of sense of taste or smell, or as been directly exposed (confirmed or suspected) to COVID-19 if they are not fully vaccinated.

Thank you for your patience with our county 4-H staff, the state 4-H office, and OSU Extension as we navigate these changes. Please feel free to contact Beth at boomershine.10@osu.edu or Rachel at stoneburner.31@osu.edu for any questions. Thank you for your cooperation.
