When do students need to complete their NTI work?
12th
Final work submission May 12th
Grades posted in Infinite Campus May 15th
9th - 11th
Final work submission May 19th
Grades posted in Infinite Campus May 27th
Infinite Campus Parent Portal will be off May 19th
What is the plan for the 2020 graduation?
Drive-thru graduation ceremony will be held May 24th, 2 pm
Students will receive the time for their family to arrive
Check-in will be at the indoor facility -Facility parking lot (to avoid them getting out of cars)
Two car maximum per family
Please see traffic pattern guide below
Staff will be on site along with local law enforcement to provide directions
Only the graduate will be allowed to exit the vehicle at the stage area
Be aware certain roads will be closed off for the ceremony (enter Yokley Dr. from Witt Rd.)
Ceremony will be live on Facebook & WFKN
Diplomas will be picked up by graduate during ceremony
Families invited to “Light Up the Night” @ 8:20 pm on May 24th
Graduates will be provided a lantern
What happens if it rains or the weather is poor for graduation?
The decision has been made to hold the event on May 24th rain or shine. If poor weather comes an indoor plan has been established.
What senior activities are planned?

Virtual Senior Baccalaureate Ceremony, May 20th @ 7 pm

All activities will be streamed on the school Facebook, Instagram and YouTube accounts
What do I need to do if I am getting cords, stoles, medals, etc. for graduation?
Cords, stoles, medals, etc. can be picked up at the high school from 1-4 pm on Wednesday, May 20th.
Those receiving these items will be listed on the Virtual Senior Awards Night presentation on Tuesday, May 19th @ 7 pm on Facebook.
Will there be an in-person 2020 graduation?
Seniors will be invited to an in-person graduation on August 8th @ 10apm (to be held at FSHS).
As this date gets closer & newer information about COVID-19 emerges more information will be made available.
Will there be a 2020 Prom?
Prom has been rescheduled for August 9th @ 7 pm, The Arling.
This will be the final date for Prom (no other reschedule dates after this).
When will I receive my yearbook?
As of now the yearbook publisher is waiting for approval to begin shipping items from their warehouse (considered non-essential at this time).
As soon as we have confirmation of when they will arrive, we will formulate a plan and let students know.
What if I haven’t registered for next year’s classes?
Class of 2021 Registration (incoming seniors)

- Class of 2024 Registration (incoming freshmen)
Will there be a Freshmen Orientation?
Yes, there will be some version of a freshmen orientation depending on COVID-19 guidelines by the month of July.
At the least, a virtual orientation video will be made for all in-coming freshmen.
How do I return school property?
Boxes for textbooks, library books, etc., in the FSHS entryway
Doors will be open from 8 - 3 pm
Calculators & Chromebooks to Central Office for check-in
Chromebook check-in will be available at FSHS May 26th - 29th

How is it decided when we return to school?
- Simpson County Schools will work with the Governor’s Office and the Kentucky Department of Education to determine when schools will reopen.
When will athletic, music, school facilities reopen?
All Kentucky campuses are closed for use until May 31st.
As the KHSAA & Kentucky Department of Education releases new information, this will be communicated.
Are the plans to move any of the sports from fall to spring?
