Pacific Sky Family Update
Principal's Weekly Message 11/27 - 12/1
Dear Pacific Sky Families,
We are grateful for your partnership and collaboration during parent-teacher conferences and all year round. Teachers appreciate your insight and support as we raise happy, healthy, and high-achieving children. One way we can encourage a healthier community is to practice gratitude. When we focus on what we are grateful for, it brings us happiness. Here are some ways we can practice gratitude at home with our children:
Have your child think of a few people who are nice or helpful then make DIY thank you notes.
Create and display a gratitude tree in your home and add new leaves as new ideas come up.
Create a gratitude jar where each member of the family adds notes about what they are grateful for.
At night, maybe before bed, share 3 good things each day. Ask your children- What went well? What made you happy today? What are you thankful for?
One thing we are grateful for at Pacific Sky is Drama Club! Please be sure to check out Aladdin Jr. on December 8th or December 9th! You can purchase tickets HERE. Shows are selling out fast, so get your tickets today!
We look forward to seeing each Pilot when we return to school tomorrow, Monday, November 27th! We know it's harder to get back in the morning routine after a break, but school starts at 8:00 am!
See you in the morning!
Chelsea Moore, Principal

I look forward to getting to know our students and families while keeping them safe and thriving at school. You can find me in person or via phone 858.523.4799 #3294
Please see HERE for our STEAM+ Spotlight with our Integration Technologist, Mrs. Sorenson.
At Pacific Sky, Mrs. Sorenson collaborates with classroom teachers to design and facilitate cross-curricular learning experiences. By leveraging the design thinking process and use of technology, she plans and leads inquiry-based learning experiences for our Pilots that promote critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication.
