RAZ Kids Winter Break Challenge
Winter break is almost here! I hope you take time to rest, relax and enjoy time with your family. Over winter break, students should be reading 20-30 minutes a day. I have loaded new books for students on RAZ Kids to help with this. I have noticed that many of you have not logged in at home to try this program.
Over winter break, I challenge each student to spend 20-30 minutes a day reading and doing activities on RAZ Kids. If students do this, they will earn prizes! ☺
Another challenge I have this year is for students is to write a winter story or a story about something they did over Christmas break. If students do this, they will earn prizes! ☺
Prizes can be earned by reading and doing activities on RAZ Kids 20-30 minutes a day, passing comprehension quizzes with 80% or higher on the first try, and completing vocabulary or writing activities also on there. I will also give a prize for the student with the most active time spent on RAZ Kids per grade level. I have new prizes ready and hope everyone earns some prizes!
Also, students can get on iReady to work on math and reading skills as well.
Enjoy Winter Break!
