Welcome back to term five!!
Soon we will see the lovely year elevens depart and as such there is a definite theme for this term! No matter the capacity you come into contact with the little cherubs, please talk to them about their PE and Science courses, how their revision is going and generally try and chivvy them along. I have a list of students that we need to 'convert / try our very best to convert' which I will attach to the email with this update. Any positive conversations would be beneficial and much like Tesco we're going with the idea that every little helps!!
As always, thanks for your awesome work!
This is happening on the 27th April and we need to be showing the government folks how amazing we are! So little things like making sure you have your learning objectives on the board, ensuring books are marked and feedback is up to date etc. will ensure they see that we're kicking educational butt! As soon as I get any more information I will pass this on but for now, any queries or issues - let me know.
Please ensure that you are familiar with the exam timetables / when your students will be in/out for exams. This will include days out for performing arts and art/photography. This needs to be considered in your planning and will reduce the surprises later on! If you need more info - ask Debbie Halfhide.
I will be downloading and sorting the coursework out for the sample in the coming weeks. Please can you email me a list of those students that do not have pieces completed / missed the coursework component.
PE moderation day - 19th April
