Stave 1: The Characters
Ebenezer Scrooge: Grumpy, Greedy, Old
Bob Cratchit: Poor, Loving, Optimistic
Fred: Joyful, Nice, Caring
Jacob Marley: Regretful, Greedy, Creepy
Stave 2: The Ghost of Christmas Past
The ghost of Christmas past had child head on a mans body. He had a beam of light that went through his head. He held a cap that could put it out though. He wore a white robe. The ghost could make himself look like he had one leg or twenty legs. The ghost took Scrooge to his boarding school to when he was a boy. It showed him sitting there all alone after all of the other children had left. This shows that Scrooge spent many Christmas' alone. The ghost then took him to Fezziwig's party. He took him to the party to show him that he had some good Christmas'. He then showed Scrooge when his fiancée broke up with him because he cared more about money than her. He then pleaded for the ghost to take him back.
Stave 3: The Ghost of Christmas Present
The ghost of Christmas present looked like a jolly green giant. He had brown curly hair and he wore a big green robe. On his head he had a holly wreath with shining icicles on it. He had a large torch and was sitting on a pile of food. He takes Scrooge to go see his nephew and how he is enjoying Christmas. He then takes him to Bob Cratchit's house and shows them getting ready to eat and thanking Scrooge. He then shows him Tiny Tim's crutch by the fire place. Scrooge wants to know if he will die, the spirit tells him that he will if Scrooge keeps his ways. The spirit then showed Scrooge two children. The boys name is ignorance and the girls is want. They are both man made but man cannot control them.
Stave 4: The Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come
The ghost of Christmas yet to come was dressed in a black gown. It was completely covered, you couldn't see its face or anything else. You could only see one outstretched arm. The first place he takes Scrooge is to see three wealthy men. They are talking about a recent death. They say it will be a cheap funeral. One man said he would go if lunch is provided. Next they see the dead persons belongings. They have been stolen by his workers. They take them to a stolen good trader in an alley. Scrooge does not know that the person that died is him. The ghost then shows him a dead body covered and tells Scrooge to take off the sheet. Scrooge will not do it. The ghost then shows him a young family celebrating because they don't have to pay their loan off. He then shows him Bob Cratchit's family being sad over the death of Tiny Tim. The ghost finally shows Scrooge his grave. Scrooge then figures out that the dead body was him and no one cared about him.
Stave 5: Moral of the Story
Summary:
Scrooge woke up and looked out the window. He saw a boy walking and yelled to him to ask him what day it was? The boy said Christmas Day. Scrooge was surprised. The ghosts all came in the same night. He payed the boy to deliver the big turkey down at the store to Bob Cratchit's. He then goes to his nephew Fred's Christmas party. Everyone is surprised by Scrooges' behavior. The next day Bob Cratchit comes into work 18 minutes late. Scrooge is mad at Bob, but he says it wont happen again. Scrooge then gives Bob a huge raise. He is surprised. Scrooge then tells him he will also help his family out.Moral of the Story:
The moral of the story is that, be nice to everyone. Put others before you.
