Round Top-Carmine Elementary School News - February 2016

Principal's Corner by Mrs. Flasowski

Happy 100th Day of School! The fourth six weeks will end on February 19th. Please continue to monitor your child's progress as we move along this Spring!

Don't forget to label your child's coats, jackets, gloves, and hats! This process will help us match lost and found items with ease.

As always, if you have questions or concerns, do not hesitate to contact your child's teacher.

"No one succeeds without effort... Those who succeed owe their success to perseverance."

PK Visit to Festival Hill

On January 28th, PK students had the opportunity to visit Festival Hill! Mr. James Dick allowed the students to play the piano with him. He also answered many of the children's questions, and he shared with them how the beautiful concert hall was built. The children listened to Mrs. Bergen read the book, Zin! Zin! Violin! Students experienced the roles of both audience members and performers, as the class divided into two groups and took turns entertaining with a variety of instruments. This special Round Top Family Library Neighborhood Visit concluded with the students marching back to the bus while playing their very own kazoo. We appreciated the partnership between the library and our school!
