Florence County Council Issues An Emergency Proclamation
Florence County Council enacted an Emergency Proclamation today to put procedures in place to deal with possible issues which could be raised by the COVID-19 threat.
One of several possible actions which could be taken under this Emergency Proclamation, if the situation should become necessary, is the imposition of a curfew. NO CURFEW HAS BEEN IMPLEMENTED AT THIS TIME AND NONE IS CURRENTLY ANTICIPATED.
Like many of the other topics addressed in the Emergency Proclamation, inclusion of the ability to enact a curfew if the situation should become necessary, is merely a precautionary effort which attempts to provide flexibility for emergency response.
