the powers of government are restricted, which the government has to follow guidelines and has a limit to what they can or cant do

The authority for the government comes from the people and rule through their representatives.

unalienable rights guaranteed to the people. This protects the rights of the people, freedom of speech, freedom of religion, etc.

which is when citizens elect a representative who they want to carry out their will and exercise power for them

each of those 3 branches of government exercise each of the powers among each other. Which each branch has the power to check or limit the other two
