My husband,Jeremy, is the HS AP and head baseball Coach. We have 6 sons and three grandsons.
Where did you grow up (hometown)?

If you are a teacher, where have you taught previously? If you are not a teacher, what other jobs have you held prior to coming to BISD?
I have taught in Stamford for 21 years.
Describe your favorite teacher growing up.
My favorite teacher was my 5th-grade teacher, Mrs. Schubert. She had a magnificent way to make you feel so special and get excited about learning and being a part of the class and school.
What was your favorite subject in school?
Why did you choose education as a career choice?
I chose education because I love not only teaching history but playing a pivotal role in shaping my students' lives and futures.
What does success look like in your classroom?
Definitely the aha moment for the students! I love it when they come in and can apply what they’ve learned to things they’ve seen outside the classroom.
What is your favorite or funniest "teaching moment?"
Mrs. Pearce and I had a contest between our classes of collecting water bottles to donate to the local homeless shelter. The losing teacher had to kiss a pig…..we collected over 4000 bottles of whatever and being the great sport she is Mrs. Pearce put on some hot red lipstick to smooch that pig!
What is your favorite thing about Breckenridge ISD?
How supportive and excited everyone is to have us a part of the Buckaroo team.
What advice do you have for students?
Get involved. Have fun. Do your best.
What advice do you have for parents?
Talk to your kids! Put devices away!
What advice do you have for a first-year teacher?
Breathe. You can’t do it all in one year so do what you can. Laugh with your students.
What is your ideal vacation spot?
A battlefield In Europe.
What is your favorite quote?
Enjoy the little things in life. You will turn around and realize they were the big things.

Travel, read, spend time with family
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live? Why?
Italy- food, beautiful countryside, relaxed approach to life
