Magnificent March
Our March programs ended with a wonderful campus celebration. Students, staff and families learned how each class explored the annual cultural theme: Africa. Students presented, guest artists performed and family members shared dishes from their kitchens. We were so proud to see how our MCDS students shared their knowledge with confidence, poise, and happiness.
We will have a special presentation on Friday, April 22nd to make one final nod to our campus-wide study on Africa. African performers will join students and staff in the morning to share dance, music and instruments with us. Parents are welcome to join us. More information will be sent your way.

Summer Camp
Early Bird registration is coming to a close. Summer camp is going to be a big success with campers hail from local, community and out-of-state homes. We will see international campers too! Mrs. Menard, Mrs. Suh, Ms. D'Ariano and Mrs. Sinha will be a few of the familiar faces you will see throughout the summer. Don't forget to register to ensure you have a spot during the weeks of your choice. Join us for a fun-filled summer!
ERB Testing for Full-time Kindergarteners and Elementary Students
AABL & CTP Exams
Full day kindergartners and elementary students will take the annual standardized assessments during the last weeks of April and beginning of May. Teachers and staff have received training on the ERB AABL and CTP exams. Students will take these exams by using an iPad. Kindergartners' one day session will run for approximately 1 hour. Elementary students will have multiple sessions scheduled over several days. We are finalizing the ERB schedule and will have that out to you shortly. Let us know if you have any questions.

Teacher In-service Day
Teachers will take part in professional development training sessions throughout the day and end with a Zumba session! They will work with Rosemary Cataldi from the Nobel Education Team to discuss Math and "Math Talk" with children. Additionally, they will learn more about the new assessment tools we will begin using this year and work on the upcoming educational events and lessons planned for the months ahead.
