The Washington Post, Second Edition
The students in Mrs. Murphy's and Mrs. Briber's class were inspired by the story of Salva Dut in the book
A Long Walk to Water by Linda Sue Park. They are organizing a fundraiser to support a nonprofit organization called Water for South Sudan. Additionally, they are working with Mr. Hogan, our PE teacher, to organize a walk to simulate "a long walk to water."
