The Holidays Are (almost) Here
We are in the thick of the Christmas season. As you can imagine, students are very excited in anticipation for Christmas break. We have many activities planned for students during this fun time of year, but we are also very busy working on reaching academic goals each and every day. It's very important to keep kids as focused as possible and on a regular schedule for sleep right up until break begins. We have had a fantastic first semester of school at Albion Elementary! You will soon receive information about your child's progress for NWEA testing and classroom report cards. Please contact your child's teacher if you have any questions or concerns about academic progress. I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday season!
Sincerely,
Jeff Harper, Principal

Family Christmas Event Success!
Our first Family Christmas Night was a major success! The PTO had a $500 donation from Busche and a $250 donation from Community State Bank for food and prize expenses to be covered. The freewill donation jar ended up with just over $300 at the end of the night. This money will be used for OUR students and THEIR classrooms. Our PTO rocks! Please consider attending the next monthly PTO meeting on December 20 at 5:30 in the lounge at Albion Elementary (come in the front door). Many parents donate time, materials, or volunteer at different events. The PTO is a very easy-going group of parents and teachers that work together to provide classroom support through materials and activities and events for our families to enjoy. We are always looking to add new members and fresh ideas, so come join us!
