PQ Tuesday Newsday
April 11, 2023
News From The Principal
I hope you all enjoyed the break. It was certainly nice to take in the spring weather and get refreshed and ready for the final stretch of the school year.
This week is full of fun activities to reengage our students at PQ. The Book Fair is set up in the multiple-purpose room, and students will spend the week perusing and looking through various types of literature.
Remember, parents, that there is no school on Thursday, 4/13, for parent-teacher conferences. If you have not yet signed up for conferences, please email your student’s teacher. Looking forward to seeing you all on Thursday!
Looking ahead: Next week, we have our NYS ELA Exam for students in grades 3-5 on Wednesday, 4/19, and Thursday, 4/20. Please ensure your students are well-rested and ready to put forth their best effort. Also, next week the After School Enrichment Program will begin. Please be sure to update School Dismissal Manager if your child is participating in any of the programs.
Community Update: As of Tuesday, April 11th, Tompkins Track is now open to the public for walking and running. Please be advised that during school hours and after school, the track may be used for students in Physical Education class and for our Track and Field Teams. During these times, the track will be closed to the public. Park only in assigned parking spaces. Please do not park along the driveway entrance at any time. The grass field is closed until further notice.
Enjoy the rest of your week, and we hope to see you on Thursday evening.
