Celebrating What’s Right at BHS
Hello families! As I compose this message, our student body is viewing a shortened version of our drama department’s Little Mermaid production. It is our BHS tradition to watch a show each year as we celebrate the many talents of our actors, musicians, theater technicians, and others contributing to this awesome effort. I am continually amazed by our students’ talents throughout our wide variety of school activity offerings, and our goal is that each individual finds a place to connect and shine during their years at BHS.
As our staff returned last August, we watched, Celebrate What’s Right With the World and have continued to intentionally celebrate the numerous accomplishments and positive contributions of our students and staff as the year progresses. The State’s newly designed Washington State Report Card portrays the significant growth that we’ve made in test scores, graduation rates, and more. While we’ve got more work ahead of us, we invite you to celebrate the great things happening at BHS and throughout our district. Also, the Little Mermaid has three showings this weekend, and we can guarantee that you will enjoy the show!

BHS 2018 – 2019 PTSA Fundraiser
The Bellingham High School PTSA Board has opted to make fundraising simple during this 2018-2019 school year. Instead of an auction, we are asking our Red Raider families to directly support the students and teachers at Bellingham High School by contributing to the Red Raider PTSA Fund. 100% of your contributions will directly support BHS students!
Watch this student produced video to learn how your contributions impact BHS
A donation of $50 per student helps secure field trips, special events and college scholarships. Every gift helps. Please consider asking family and friends to donate in honor of your student. Fundraising envelopes were given to students yesterday. Return the envelope with your donation to the PTSA Box outside the ASB Office or donate today via Paypal.
Thank you for your support !
