During times of inclement weather there are many ways to find out if the Cabot Public School District will be closed, have a delayed start time or dismissed early. One of the fastest methods to receive this information is by downloading the Cabot Public Schools Application (App) on your smartphone. Make sure you go to settings on your phone and turn on the alerts for the app. That way if you get a notification a banner will pop up on your screen. Other messages are often sent through the app as well. The district has several methods of dispersing school closure information that are listed below.
a. Cabot School District Smartphone App
b. Automated Phone Messages/email/text

American College Test (ACT)
Effective for the 2015-2016 school year, students will have two ways to take the ACT test:
Required and provided by the Arkansas Department of Education through the local high school on March 1, 2016 - 11th grade only!
Optional and provided by the American College Testing through a student/parent registration on national test dates throughout the year.
Both ways of taking the ACT test will provide students with a valid, reportable score for colleges and scholarships.
On March 1, 2016 all Arkansas students enrolled in 11th grade will have the opportunity to take a FREE ACT test through the assessment requirements from the Arkansas Department of Education. The school will register the students and administer the test at school during the day.
Students may take the ACT during the year on a national testing date by completing the application and paying the fee. These testing dates and registration are the responsibility of the student and parent. Information regarding these traditional testing dates is available at http://www.actstudent.org/ or the counseling center. The ACT given on a national testing date is usually on a Saturday.
