DIGITAL SURVEY - Please complete

The Regional Opportunity Initiatives (ROI) and the Purdue Center for Regional Development (PCRD) have partnered to develop a regional digital inclusion plan that will impact economic development and quality of life.

They need your help! They’re conducting an Indiana Uplands survey to learn about home internet speeds, access to computing devices, and how Uplanders use their digital devices.

The more people who complete their survey, the better able they will be to assess our region's digital capital. You can help by filling out the survey and sharing it with those in your community. It takes less than 10 minutes to complete!

Survey responses will be used to shape a digital inclusion plan for the Indiana Uplands region and each of our 11 counties. From e-learning to remote work, telehealth, internet reliability, and access to quality devices — digital inclusiveness is crucial to the healthy functioning of our communities.

This study will define ways we can work to improve infrastructure, internet speed, connectivity, access to devices, and digital literacy. By improving our region's digital capital, we can advance economic and community prosperity across the Indiana Uplands region.

Hurry! The survey closes November 16, 2020. SURVEY LINK

VIRTUAL Events at IVY TECH

November 5: Join us for College 101 on Thursday, November 5 at 6 pm. This is a virtual event designed to provide information about the many programs and opportunities that Ivy Tech offers. We will have our admissions and recruitment team present information about ways that students can begin taking college classes while still in high school, talk about different pathways such as transfer opportunities or our Next Level Jobs program which helps students earn a certificate tuition-free. If you have any students interested in the ASAP program, Jennifer Rusk will be part of the session to share the upcoming cohort application dates.

We will also have someone from our Express Enrollment Center who’ll talk about Financial Aid and the FAFSA. Additionally, our retention office will share resources available to students to help them succeed. We’ll wrap up with a Q&A to ensure that all student questions are answered. To RSVP visit www.ivytech.edu/College101.

November 19: Join our faculty from the Hospitality (Culinary), Human Services, and Criminal Justice programs to learn more about each of these programs! We’ll share information on program requirements, courses, employment opportunities, employment and transfer partnerships, and the next steps to get started at Ivy Tech.
