Unfortunately, we have had recent issues with visitors attempting to wander throughout the building instead of waiting in the main office/front lobby for their child to come down for early dismissal.

• We are sad to announce that Ms. Corsi is no longer working with us here at New Castle. We realize this presents a language challenge for many of our Spanish speaking families. Please be patient with us and know that we will continue to do our best to try to meet your needs.

• As the weather begins to warm up, please remember that students should be dressing appropriately for school and the temperature each day. Students should always be wearing clothing that does not expose their midriff, close toed shoes, and should consider carrying a light jacket.

• There is no football at recess due to the excessive amount of hands-on incidents that often occur while football is being played at recess. If you see your child attempting to bring a football to school, please remind them of this rule.

Be mindful that even if your child brings breakfast and/or lunch with them, we CANNOT DENY students access to the meals that we have in school, so if you do not want them to eat a school breakfast/lunch or have concerns about the possibility of them eating a double lunch (the one that bring from home and what we offer in school) and ending up with a tummy ache, please have that conversation with your scholar. :-)
