THIS WEEK'S HAPPENINGS
Tuesday, October 31st
Please DO NOT send students to school in a costume. Although this is a special day for many families, it is an instructional day for our campus and students should follow regular school dress code. Thank you for your help with this!
Thursday, November 2nd
- Class Group Pictures and Fall Picture Retakes- Information will be shared in Tuesday folders for ordering. If your child was absent for Fall pictures or you moved to our school after, we will have yearbook pictures taken this day as well.
2023-2024 Yearbook Sales Now Open
GT Referral Window Now thru December 15th
Referral requests are now open for Conroe Independent School District Gifted and Talented program. Although the testing will not take place until late January, referral requests are accepted at this time. Referral requests can be made by the parents and/or campus staff. It is recommended that parents of 2nd grade students wait until CogAT scores have arrived before nominating their child because CogAT scores are part of the GT assessment. If you are interested in referring your child, you may want to discuss this with your child’s teacher.
Referrals will be accepted October 3- December 15, 2023. You may click the button below for the form or request a referral form from the front office or the Counselor. You can also find the referral form and other GT information on the CISD GT homepage.
Being at school each day is important and when students are absent, they miss out on valuable instruction. Every instructional minute matters! Please send your students to school when they are not sick. Vacations should be scheduled during our long breaks.

CISD Bond 2023
Early voting has begun! If Prop A and any combination of Props B, C, and D are approved by voters, it is projected there will be a 2-cent impact for the 24-25 school year. Prop B includes funds for technology devices for all schools. These items are funded through shorter-term bonds that align with their lifespan, typically 3-5 years. Prop C includes funds for ag barns and elementary PE classrooms/gyms. The 16 schools without designated gyms transition the cafeteria to activity space between mealtimes. Prop D includes funds for a covered, outdoor pool and Natatorium mechanical updates. Since the Natatorium was constructed in 2008, Conroe ISD has grown by approximately 25,000 students and the University Interscholastic League has added water polo as a recognized sport. See early voting hours and locations at elections.mctx.org.
