Principal's Message

Happy Mother's Day to all of the mothers in the Carver MS community!

Hopefully our Cougars spent a little time spoiling mom today! Thank you very much to everyone who supported our staff during Teacher Appreciation week. Special thanks to our PTA President, Mrs. Shaketta Thomas and all of our PTA members for their special gift to our teachers! Our friends at Cornerstone Assembly of God Church also showed their generosity and appreciation by acknowledging our teachers with a special gift and video.

We have a few weeks of instruction ahead of us. Please continue to utilize our online learning lab the, Cougar Den, to access new learning opportunities.

Please let us know if you need us at any time. Thanks and take care of each other.

Anthony J. McLaurin, Sr., Ed.D.

Locker clean out Monday-Wednesday

It was great seeing many of you last week during locker clean out. Locker clean out will continue Monday-Wednesday of this week. Parents will not exit their vehicles. Staff members will greet parents at door 1 and collect belongings from lockers along with pictures, instruments and other items that were left at school. Items will then be delivered to your vehicles. Please use the student belongings pick up form to select a time to pick up your child's things. Pick-up times are scheduled according to grade level.

Yearbook Ordering

You still have time to order a yearbook! Please use the Yearbook Ordering Form to make your purchase online.

Parents will be notified when yearbooks are available for pick up.

Special Message for 8th Grade Parents

8th Grade Parents:This is just a reminder that your child may view the presentation for and complete their Academic and Career Plan. An ACP is a personalized learning plan and course of study that aligns with your child's academic and career goals. This plan will travel with your child to high school, where high school counselors will use this plan as a tool to continue to guide your child through course selections. Please click on the following link to view the ACP presentation. At the end of the presentation, you will find a link that will take your child step-by-step to complete the plan. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to your child's School Counselor directly.
