EGR removal
The Exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) helps a modern diesel engine warm up quicker at lower temperatures and helps the engine run efficiently with lower emissions. In time the EGR may become inefficient and you will be left with two options either EGR removal or replacement, EGR removal being the relatively inexpensive choice.
When the EGR clogs up with carbon it reduces the flow of air through the intake system causing a reduction in power and fuel efficiency making an EGR removal a great money saving exercise. Deposit pieces of carbon may flow back into the intake causing problems within the engine a EGR removal will prevent this.
Just removing the EGR will cause problems like lack of power, poor engine running or ECU fault lights. Performance Blue will remove the EGR and remap your ECU preventing future problems.
Performance Blue provide the EGR removal in Manchester area and is a great way to keep your car running smoothly.
