Photosynthesis
Photosynthesis is the process of plants making their own food . The need sun energy , carbon dioxide , and water to produce glucose . The glucose helps the plant grow and not die . CO2 means carbon dioxide , O2 means oxygen and C6H12O6 means Glucose . Chloropyhll is the a green pigment found in the chloroplast . Chloroplast conducts photosynthesis and captures light energy and stores it . Oxygen is the waste the plants give off which helps us breathe .
Photosythesis Equation
6CO2 + 6H2O + sunlight -----> C6H2O6 + 6O2
6CO2 equals Carbon dioxide
6H2O equals Water
C6H12O6 equals Glucose
6O2 equals Oxygen
6CO2 equals Carbon dioxide
6H2O equals Water
C6H12O6 equals Glucose
6O2 equals Oxygen
Chloroplast
Chloroplast is a organelle in a plant cells that conducts photosynthesis , chloroplast capture light energy and store it for the plant .
Photosynthesis
This picture shows the cycle of photosynthesis or how plants produce food . It has the CO2 equals carbon dioxide , O2 equals oxygen , H2O equals water and C6H12O6 equals glucose .
Sun
The sun is one of the main sources of energy that helps plants produce glucose and oxygen . If it wasn't for the sun plants would die and we would die also.
