Excellence in a Creative Environment for Learning

Teacher Feature: Meet Mr. Lewis

Mr. Brandon Lewis is a new addition to our Dobyns-Bennett EXCEL faculty. He joins DBE after teaching History for two years a Unaka High School. Brandon is a proud graduate from Daniel Boone High School, and he went on to further his education at East Tennessee State University.

In his spare time, Mr. Lewis enjoys snowboarding, basketball, and traveling. His traveling adventures have taken him to the Great Pyramid of Giza, and he has seen Shaun White compete at the Winter X-Games. When he is not found hitting the slopes, Brandon can be found spending time with his dog, Nefe or his cat, Louis,

Mr. Lewis is most excited about teaching at DBE for the endless educational possibilities our flexible environment allows.

D-B EXCEL Online Store

Several students have expressed interest in having a DBE store. We have arranged to have a temporary online store through Action Athletics so students, parents, and staff can purchase DBE merchandise (Shirts, hoodies, hats, bags, etc.). The store will be open until midnight on Sunday, August 20th. Most shirts have color options. Merchandise will be ordered after the store closes and will be delivered to students at school when it is ready. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Shaffer at sshaffer@k12k.com.
