Newsletter #36

Spring is...Here?

Yes, it is snowing today. Yes, it snowed yesterday. And, it is rather chilly out there. But, spring really has sprung, we are sure of it! The background to this newsletter and the photos below definitely show springtime activity in our greenhouse. Check out all the plants that Rachel has started for this growing season and our CSA program! She was even outside in one of the gardens earlier this week, planting some hearty, plant-early-in-the-season type plants. So, things are moving in the right direction!

GG & COVID-19

Currently, we are still operating without our clients and volunteers. We are watching the news briefings and reading the updates to make sure we are as on top of the situation as possible. We look forward to the day when we can head into whatever the "new normal" brings us, and we will continue to follow all guidelines to keep our staff, clients, customers, and volunteers safe. As soon as we have a reopening plan, we will share it with you. But, despite all that is going on, we are proceeding as normal with our CSA program. Even if our Thursday pick-ups have to follow a modified and socially distant routine, we sure do look forward to seeing our subscribers! All of us at GG hope you are all hanging in there and doing well as we all shelter at home as much as we are able.
