- Teachers please do a dress code check and send anyone that is out of dress code to the collaboration space (There will be an AP or a teacher there to take down their names and then give a pass back to class or take care of the situation immediately.) THIS WILL BEGIN WEDNESDAY….PLEASE GIVE YOUR STUDENTS A REMINDER ABOUT DRESS CODE Tuesday.
- Please begin the morning announcements and have a great day!
Announcements are videoed each morning. There could always be a case when it just doesn’t happen or doesn’t load the correct way, please be patient. If that is the case, we will still make the announcements on the intercom and we will let you know if there is an issue.
Thanks for your help! Please participate in the announcements! For example: Students need to know when club meetings are, student work can even be highlighted…. Announcements will be limited to 3 min.

Results Focused: PRIDE
Click HERE for the PRIDE site on the Doerre Dashboard for all things Pride (calendars, resources, lesson plans, etc)
We will start claiming students for Pride the week of September 3rd. The list will be sent on Wednesday to first priority teachers. The list will then be sent to second priority teachers on Thursday and then on Friday to everyone else. Students will receive an email on Tuesday informing them where they will be during Pride for that week. Please make sure you are claiming your students by the end of the day you receive the list. Pride is an intervention or enrichment period. Please make sure we are prepared so that students are engaged.
Inspiring a lifelong, insatiable desire to learn: What Doerre is Reading
In the spirit of fostering a culture of reading on campus, we will be making signs to jump start conversations about reading. This allows your students see you as not only their teachers, but as a reader too. Think about the amazing books talks that will stem from this!
Your sign will be laminated so you can put it outside your door, and update it as the books you are reading changes.
What we need from all of you:
To make sure I get everyone’s names correct, please fill out this form of how you would like your name to appear on your sign. (ex: if Kessler would prefer hers to say Mrs. Mac instead of McClanahan because that’s what her students call her)
Any questions can be directed to Mrs. Authement (Room 203)
