PAST DUE:: February Trip Contribution
This contribution amount is $200. For questions on how much you have currently fundraised, please reach out to Jen Smith at finman@eahsmusic.org.
Please read below about ways to make this contribution. Please ensure you follow all of the information below.

In addition, our travel company, Music Travel Consultants, will be hosting a trip informational meeting on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at 7p via zoom.
PAST DUE FRIDAY: Apple Blossom Online Registration
Band Families:
All students and chaperones planning to attend the Washington D.C./ Shenandoah Apple Blossom Parade spring performance will need to register via our travel company (Music Travel Consultants) by Friday, February 18, 2022. Students who are only attending the NYC trip do not need to register with our travel company.
Registering is simple! Please follow the instructions below:
Go to www.musictravel.com.
In the upper right-hand corner, click the "Trip Login" button.
Select "Register a New User."
Fill out contact information.
Do not use an @roverkids.org email. You can use a parent/ guardian email OR a student’s personal email.
This email address will be the one used to log onto your travel account.
Chaperones/ Nurses should create one account for themselves and register their student under this account.
At the bottom of this page, please enter the contact information of the parent/ guardian. If you do not have a home phone, leave this space blank.
Select "Register a Traveler."
Enter trip number 2204-5-67.
When registering your child, please register them as a “student.”
When you get to the traveler information page, you will enter the student’s contact information.
You will then be able to see the Washington DC/ Apple Blossom Trip! No further action is needed at this time.
March Forth: A Month of Giving to the EAHS Band and Orchestra
We have surpassed 65% of our goal so far. Help us to reach our goal of $10,000 by reading below!
There are THREE ways to make a donation:
- The IMA website (www.eahsmusic.org) – donate & pay all online!
- Paper form (check/ cash) – attached to this email
- Facebook @ Easton Area High School Instrumental Music Association
50% of any contributions received for the March Forth campaign that are affiliated with a marching band student can go towards their trip contributions. Unfortunately, we are not able to have any Facebook contributions count towards student contribution goals.

The deadline to return the application is Wednesday, April 6, 2022. We look forward to reading your application.

Class Scheduling (2022 - 2023 School Year)
BAND:
- Students currently in 9th grade or Block 01 concert band should schedule BAND next year. There are no grade specific labels (Band 10, Band 11, etc.) for next year.
- Students who play both in band & orchestra should schedule two separate classes (BAND & STRING ENSEMBLE).
- Place the ensemble in the first spot under your electives.
- If you think you may have a potential scheduling conflict, let Mr. Ballentine know as there are many solutions (health 10, languages, etc.)
- Students in wind ensemble currently should schedule wind ensemble for next year. Students who wish to be considered for wind ensemble but are not currently enrolled in the course should schedule BAND. Auditions for wind ensemble will take place in February.
- Students currently in 9th grade or Block 01 symphony orchestra should schedule STRING ENSEMBLE next year. There are no grade specific labels (STRINGS 10, STRINGS 11, etc.) for next year.
- Place the ensemble in the first spot under your electives.
- If you think you may have a potential scheduling conflict, let Mr. Ballentine know as there are many solutions (health 10, languages, etc.)
Snacks Needed for upcoming Parades!
The Shammy Shine Car Wash Gift Card Fundraiser is back!
What is it?
The IMA is selling $10, $25, and $50 Shammy Shine gift cards. The IMA earns 30% on every gift card sold.
Students attending the Washington D.C./ Shenandoah Apple Blossom Tour will be able to apply 50% of the profits from each card they sell towards their March contribution!
Sale Dates:
The sale will run February 14 – March 4, 2022. Sale details and order forms can be found on the IMA website. Gift cards can be used at any Shammy Shine location and they never expire (Locations and available services can be found at http://www.shammyshine.com).
If you do not wish to order online, please submit your tally sheet with one check payable to “IMA” in an envelope marked “Car Wash Fundraiser” and place it in the Fundraiser Box in the Instrumental Room. (The Student Form is for students to track their orders.)
All orders are DUE no later than Friday, March 4, 2022.
Gift card pick up will be the week of March 14 at EAHS.

EAHS Performs: 5:40p

Spring Craft Show 2022 is coming up!
We’re excited to host our annual spring craft show on Saturday, March 26 from 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at Easton Area High School.
- Over 100 crafters and vendors are registered for the show
- Expect some good eats at the food court
- This public event is a big fundraiser for the IMA
Sportswear Order Pickup
There will be another pickup on Wednesday February 23rd 6:30pm - 7:30pm in the band room for any sportswear or jacket orders that haven’t been picked up.
If you were due a refund and have not received it yet please email me at merchandise@eahsmusic.org and I will get back to you by February 23rd.
IMA chaperones and volunteers needed
The IMA relies on the participation of its members to chaperone student events and to support and organize fundraising events. All IMA members with ACT 153 clearances on file with the Easton Area School District are eligible to participate as a chaperone or volunteer.
