Kids and Smartphones
There are many factors contributing to anxiety and depression in youth, but have you ever thought that you child’s smartphone could be the cause of this? New information states that there may be a correlation between smartphones and your child’s mental health. Even researchers who aren’t ready to slam smartphones just yet say it’s important to restrict an adolescent’s device habit and that too much social media is likely harmful. Electronic Devices
In our Blended Learning environment, WRJH encourages the use of devices for certain classroom activities. Classroom teachers will let students know when the time is appropriate to use devices. Please remind students that there are to be no electronic devices in hallways, common areas and/or classrooms unless otherwise directed by a member of the staff.
