PSAT JANUARY 26th REGISTRATION LINK FOR 9th & 10th graders (and any 11th graders who did NOT test on Oct. 29)
Dear Parents/Guardians and Students,
NEISD will provide an opportunity for all juniors to take the PSAT/NMSQT exam in the fall of 2020 and the SAT exam in the spring of the 2021 school year at no cost. If juniors are unable to test on October 29, 2020, there will be a makeup administration on January 26, 2021
These exams will be administered in-person at each of our high schools - there will not be an online testing opportunity.
You can only take the PSAT one time this school year, so if you are a junior and are planning on taking it in October, you cannot also take it in January.
Freshmen and sophomores will have an opportunity to take the PSAT/NMSQT on January 26, 2021. Students interested in this opportunity will register with the CCMR Specialist by November 13, 2020 - NO LATE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED, NO EXCEPTIONS. If the January 26th testing administration is cancelled due to COVID-19, there will not be a make-up date later this school year.
As we develop our testing plan, we will remain committed to the health and well-being of all students and staff by creating a safe testing environment. We will carefully listen to the guidelines issued by the CDC and Metro Health and will communicate any changes with parents and students in a timely manner.
If there is a cancellation for any of the listed exams, Guidance Services will post the changes to the NEISD website immediately and notify students and parents/guardians.
At this time, the testing plan for NEISD students is listed below.
· January 26, 2021 – PSAT/NMSQT make up day for 11th graders
· January 26, 2021 – PSAT/NMSQT 9th and 10th graders
· March 24, 2021 - SAT School Day for all 11th grade students
