Message from Mrs. Martin, your principal
It has been wonderful this week to connect with so many of our students through their daily class meetings. It is the highlight for many of us to connect, chat, and support our students (face to face)! Please know as we continue to implement remote learning, your feedback is valued. Please feel free to email or contact staff with questions, concerns, or celebrations. You can find all staff members virtual office hours on their classroom pages. We would love to start collecting pictures of students "learning at home". If you have a photo you would like in an upcoming newsletter, please send it to lisa_jacobs@engschools.net.
Also, each morning I am putting out a "Bishop Morning Announcement". During this time, I am providing students suggestions for ways to help around the home as well as taking some time away from technology. It is also so important to take care of yourself during this time socially and emotionally as we practice social distancing. Each day my family takes a walk and plays a game or two. Below are some additional ideas of social emotional breaks you can take as a family.
Thanks again for your continued support to your child's remote learning experience. Our teachers say, "Thank you!".
Your principal,
Shanna Martin

ART UPDATE FROM MR. BENSON
It has been really fun to see art making continue as we begin our journey with online learning! Each week Bishop artists are given a choice between an art theme or challenge to try out in their home art studios. The past week, our theme involved “Art and Nature” and creating art with natural materials. To showcase the artworks made by Bishop students and other K-12 students throughout the school district, our district art specialists are putting together an online art gallery. You can access the gallery at the following link;
Be sure to check back every week to see what Englewood kid artists are making!
