IMPORTANT FOR 5TH GRADE STUDENTS
Good afternoon! One of the requirements for all students in 5th grade is to take an Honors Placement Test before the end of the year. This test - along with standardized test scores, report cards, etc. - is used to determine student placement for 6th grade. As such, please schedule a time next week (Monday, Wednesday, or Friday) when your child can come in and take the ELA and Math Placement Tests. Tests will be taken in the school library, and students will be spaced apart at separate tables. The test may take up to an hour and 40 minutes (but students can obviously finish early).
Here is the link to sign up for a scheduled time: https://signup.com/go/DJPWxAk
Thank you for your assistance in the matter, God bless, and have a wonderful weekend!
Sincerely, In Christ, Scott Osborn, M.Ed.
P.S.: Please have your child wear a mask, if possible.
WHAT'S HAPPENING AT SMM?
Our fabulous teachers are continuing to provide lessons from home. Please encourage your children to do their best work during the final days of school. Please remember to schedule your family end of school year pick up day and time. Here is the link: https://signup.com/go/bcZrOYL
Congratulations to our PreK, Kindergarten and 7th grade students on their promotions to the next grade. We are working on arrangements for our 7th grade and Kindergarten promotions and PreK-4 closing ceremony. Please stay tuned for details. We will not have a PreK-3 closing ceremony this year.
We are accepting registrations for the 2020 - 2021 school year. Please share this with your families and friends. In fact, we are offering private, socially safe distancing tours to prospective parents. Please have any one who interested call the school office. We forward our school phone to Miss Susan when we are not at school. Thank you, Susan!
Please check out our new "Saint Margaret Mary Early Childhood Programs" Facebook page and invite your friends to like it.
Our cleaning crew is busy cleaning and sanitizing the entire campus. Our maintenance staff is sprucing up the campus and we have a construction crew making needed repairs on the overhangs by the 1st and 2nd grade classrooms.
We miss our students and families and pray for you daily.
CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR APRIL STUDENTS OF THE MONTH - WE ARE PROUD OF YOU
