RBHS FOUNDATION
The RBHS Foundation is selling BRONCO BRICKS!
These bricks are engraved bricks and will be permanently encircle the front of library garden area. They will be a treasure that will last forever. Bricks will be installed as part of the newly renovated beautification project this summer.
You may customize your own brick - either 4x8 or 8x8. Order form is attached and is super user friendly.

SENIOR FINALS - JUNE 3 - 6
Friday, June 3 - Senior Finals for Periods 1 and 3. This day will be a regular schedule but teachers will only give finals for seniors in Period 1 and Period 3 classes.
Monday, June 6 - Senior Finals for Periods 2 and 4. This day will be a regular schedule but teachers will only give finals for seniors in Period 2 and Period 4 classes.

Ms. Bowers, Student Services Specialist, has a helpful resource that she can offer parents who may have a teen struggling with vaping and nicotine addiction. Please email her at ebowers@powayusd.com if you would like her to connect you with resources and a self-guided cessation program that can be done in the privacy of your own home.
AFS FOREIGN EXCHANGE STUDENT OPPORTUNITY
Welcome a new culture to your home and family: Host an AFS foreign exchange student! Discover a deeper appreciation for different cultures and our shared humanity by welcoming an exchange student into your home and heart for a school year. With the dedicated support of local volunteers, your family will create a lifelong bond that spans cultures and countries. Countdown to Grad Nite at CA Adventure and Party Pals Grad Fest - Don't Miss Out!
Only a few tickets are left for Grad Nite at CA Adventure. Access the PTSA website to register your interest on the waitlist and you will be contacted: https://ptsarbhs.wixsite.com/ptsarbhs/senior-celebration-2022. If you are contacted to purchase a ticket, the cost is $175 each. Students depart RBHS at 6:00 pm on June 4 and return at 4:30 am on June 5. Hours at the park are from 9:00 pm to 2:00 am.
Tickets are also still available for Party Pals Grad Fest being held June 8 from 8:00 pm to midnight. Access the PTSA website to purchase a ticket: https://ptsarbhs.wixsite.com/ptsarbhs/senior-celebration-2022. Tickets are $125 until May 28. Beginning May 29 until June 7th, ticket price increases to $140. If you have purchased a ticket, you will receive a confirmation email within the next week.
Seniors! Save the Date for Senior Walks!
Senior Walks have been confirmed at the elementary schools listed below. Please be on the lookout in the next few weeks for sign-ups and details about times.
The Senior Walks will take place on June 8 after cap/gown pick up that morning. Each school has a different time; however, they will all take place either in the late morning or early afternoon. We’ll be announcing those times in the next few weeks.

Founder’s Scholarship
Each year RBHS FOL recognizes a deserving college bound RBHS Senior with a $500 scholarship, to be used towards textbooks and other required course materials for undergraduate studies beginning in the fall. The last date for applying for the Founder's Scholarship is May 27. Please contact RBHS Library staff for details.
Thank you for your donations
We extend our sincere thanks to all the members/parents who recently made big donations to the RBHS FOL. A plaque with their names engraved is now displayed in our library for their recent generous donation. RBHS library is one of the best in PUSD largely due to your support and donations. For donations of $500.00 or more, your name will be engraved on the donor plaque displayed in our library.
Monthly Zoom Meetings:
We continue to meet monthly on Zoom, we request parents to join the FOL team and attend our zoom meetings to get to know us better. We also encourage students to join the FOL student board. Students can earn community service hours by participating in FOL activities.

RBHS FOL needs YOU! Would you like to help RBHS buy library books for your students without spending a dime? At Ralphs go to https://www.ralphs.com/i/community/community-contribution-program, sign in to your Ralphs account (or make one), search for your Organization, enroll in GF748 (RBHS Library). Every time you shop with your Ralphs reward card, Ralphs gives RBHS FOL a small donation and it costs you nothing, but you do have to sign up each year.
