Our first week was a delight!
(three mornings of bliss for us!)
A little news...........
It was ever-so-lovely to see you on Tuesday for play time and our first pot-luck! (A few of you were not able to be here for this first gathering, and were missed).
Dave and I walk around in awe of how wonderful it is to be with your children and to have you all in our space!

- Wednesday, was filled with the bubbly interactions between the children, the environment, and all of us. The children are so respectful of each other and clearly happy to be together in this way.
- Thursday, our first Stone Soup day, was delicious in so many ways. We had wonderful peaches and cucumbers from Jacob and Diane for snack, with a few pears from our tree; all of which we enjoyed on the grass together before coming inside to play and make our soup. Remember to send your children with something they would like to add to our soup (organic, local if possible, gluten free, dairy free - so a vegetable is best!).
- Our visit to North Mountain Park this morning, Friday, was perfect! A little bit of sand play, some adventuring, and many smiles! The children are so proud of themselves and eager to help in any way they can. HATS are necessary during this outside time, so please remember to send the children with their labeled sun hat. (Warm hats later................!)
For next week...........
notes and reminders......
- Remember to send your children in comfortable clothes.
- Please sign up to contribute to our snacks. We love fruits and vegetables which are abundant; nuts; gluten free crackers, hummus and so on.
- It is also time to schedule home visits! I will have a sign up on the front table, so please indicate when and if, you would like to have Dave and I over for a brief visit. This is one way we bridge the home-school relationship and support us all in creating the best possible early learning situation for the children.
