Relationships Matter!
I love the expression, “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” We all in education have the same goal in mind, we want to see our students reach their fullest potential. There have been thousands of people working thousands of hours to come up with some of the most amazing breakthroughs in education that have revolutionized ways to accomplish this goal, but I believe none of it will have lasting effect if you have not first built relationships with those involved. Bottom line is, in order to have a successful school, people must be put before processes and practices, because when they are, success will surely follow.

Tom Howls out to the 4th Grade Team for doing a super job of running the writing boot camp. The 4th Graders are ready to rock thanks to Ms. Sandoval, Ms. Rizvan, Ms. Mathews, Ms. Rogers, and Ms. Castilla.

Northcutt howls out to Ms. Lacrecia Robinson, Nurse Vanessa Lay and Ms. Silvia Cruz for helping me out with the Science Fair and getting my Dr. Seuss door done. You guys blew me away with the kindness and help- you guys took YOUR time to help me with something that mattered so much and relieved my stress. You guys are awesome and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for the TEAM WORK and willingness to help- I am so thankful! TEAM WORK is what makes Hackberry feel like FAMILY.
