WINTER BREAK -- DECEMBER 21 - JANUARY 1

SCHOOL RESUMES MONDAY, JANUARY 4

PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE by MONICA ARBOW

Dear Nancy Ryles,

As we approach winter break, I would like to thank all of you for supporting your children, your teachers, your school and your community through the most eventful 2020 we could have imagined.

I am humbled by the collaboration and support from our Nancy Ryles community during this season of giving. As a result of our generous community partnerships, we were able to provide 48 families (a total of 136 children) with holiday support. What a wonderful feeling it is to help each other during times of need.

I hope you and your family find a new way of celebrating the holidays this winter and are reminded of the things in your lives that are most important, which is each other, whether in memory, in person, or virtually. Keep hope alive; a new year is coming.

My best wishes to all of you this holiday season!

Monica Arbow

Principal

This month, Safe Routes to School invites you to go on a snowflake hunt! We are asking Nancy Ryles families to display a snowflake in a window facing the street and walk around their neighborhood checking out all the snow! Below is a tutorial link to making a paper snowflake. Hopefully this will provide a fun activity and a little encouragement to go outside and walk and roll. Be sure to track your miles and record them on your Marathon Kids account!
