NEWS FROM THE PANTHER DEN
"WE MADE IT A FULL WEEK" Edition
WEEK 2 REFLECTION
The positive feedback I have received from parents about Back to School Night has included quotes like "the best one I have ever been to," "everyone was so happy," and "you can sense the pride as soon as you walked in." I will continue to say this but thank you from the bottom of my heart for your warm reception and well wishes for me as I join the PTHS staff. It has been so much fun being with your kids.
The Football Game on Friday was one of the best I have seen a long time. The spirit and energy from everyone who attended was amazing. It was great to see so many staff members at the game and the energy from the student section was AWESOME! It was also a first in my career as I got to do the "play by play" from the booth! (See the picture below.) Konnor Dara kicked a 35 yard field goal to win the game as time expired and then the cheerleaders and I led a crowd rendition of "Sweet Caroline." It was definitely something to remember. I look forward to seeing what Week 3 will bring! LET'S GO PANTHERS!
