GREENERY IDEAS & PHOTOS WANTED
How do you use ICCS greenery to decorate your home or workspace? Share your creative ideas and show off your style by submitting photos of your festive greenery creations. It’s simple! Snap a pic of your favorite live greenery infused area or wreath and email it to kmorgan@iccschool.org. Photos will be featured on the ICCS Facebook page and in future issues of the Panther Press. Check out this photo of a fresh cut garland and wreath being used to decorate a family living space. The photo was sent in by one of our ICCS families!
The ICCS PTO Greenery Fundraiser Committee would like to wish all families and supporters a Blessed Christmas and Happy New Year!
WHEN TO KEEP YOUR CHILD HOME
As cold and flu season ramps up, parents are reminded of the importance of keeping students home until the illness has run its course and children are no longer contagious. Please review the following health/illness guidelines and help reduce the spread of germs at school.
- Fever (greater than 100 degrees): for fever and flu symptoms, a student should not return to school until the fever has been gone for 24 hours without the use of medication
- Vomiting: students return 24 hours after vomiting stops
- Diarrhea: students return 24 hours after diarrhea stops
- Contagious illnesses (strep throat, impetigo, pink eye, etc.): a student may return to school after 24 hours of treatment with antibiotic and if fever is not present.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A PARISHIONER?
REFER A FRIEND OR FAMILY MEMBER
New Family Registration for the 2020-2021 academic year will take place on Monday, February 10. We are asking current ICCS families to help our Enrollment Team pinpoint prospective families living in the area. If you know of a friend, family member, neighbor, co-worker or acquaintance who may be interested in sending their child to ICCS next school year, or in the future, please complete the New Family Referral form.
Many of our current families were attracted to our school because someone personally recommended ICCS to them. Please help us recruit future panthers to the ICCS community in 2020-2021. #startyourlegacyatICCS #futureICCSpanthers

SCIENCE STUDENTS RECEIVE THANKS
Mrs. Brittany Ebersole, Middle School Science Teacher, recently received a letter from the organization thanking our students for their fundraising efforts and dedication to helping others across the world obtain clean and safe water sources.
"We are so happy that we got to educate others about this important program while raising money for a new water containment project," said Mrs. Ebersole. "It made an impact on the students. They enjoyed the lesson and receiving direct correspondence from the organization."
