A copy of the book will be displayed in the cafeteria, and our librarian, Mrs. Simmons, will read the book to the students as they visit the library the week of distribution. There will also be a flat Sylvia art project that Mr. Lambert, the art teacher, might do with students that week. On the day of distribution, June 7th, we hope to have the cafeteria serve spinach on the line. The Sho Go Mobile (mobile farmers market) would like to set up nearby so parents picking up their children can shop at the market. Since it is too early to actually plant spinach, every student will receive a package of spinach seeds to plant this fall. We may even do a planting activity by grade in the gym if possible.
