A Message from Principal Bame

Dear Laurel Park Families,

Greetings and happy June to all! This newsletter will be my last as the principal of Laurel Park. The final edition of the Penguin Press News will be sent on Monday, June 26th. In the near future, we anticipate an interim principal will be approved to support our school during this time of transition.

As I mentioned in my original announcement letter, I will be moving into the principal role at Apex Middle School in July. My last day at Laurel Park is Friday, June 16th. It has been a true honor serving our community for the last seven years. I will treasure the memories I have made with the students, staff, and community. Without a doubt, the next Laurel Park principal will be incredibly lucky to lead such a wonderful school!

With appreciation and gratitude,

Mrs. Raleigh Bame
