IBX Personal Choice Virtual Medicine and SwiftMD

If you have health benefits through the Avon Grove School District, you have two different options for "seeing" a doctor in the comfort of your own home. Please read below for more information about the differences between the two.

IBX Personal Choice Virtual Medicine

During these challenging times, many healthcare providers are allowing patients to have "virtual visits." If you are making an appointment for a "virtual visit" with your doctor or specialist, it's important to make sure that the provider codes it as a "Virtual Visit" or "Virtual Medicine." It will then be billed like a regular office visit.

Do not ask your provider for "telemedicine." If you do, you will be told it's not covered or the claim will be denied.

REMEMBER - ASK FOR A VIRTUAL OFFICE VISIT AND ALL WILL BE WELL!

If you are being told by the staff of your Specialist or Primary Care Physician that your virtual visit is not covered or you receive a bill for the services please call The Reschini Group Customer Service group so they can assist you in

having the claim processed correctly. The number is 1-800-442-8047.

To understand better understand your coverage during these times please refer to the following link on the IBX website https://www.ibx.com/covid-19

SWIFTMD

There is another option for care at home. Stay home and login in 24/7 to schedule a FREE consult with a doctor, or call the toll free number 833-SWIFTMD (833-794-3863) or 877-999-7943. For online access go to mySwiftMD.com and click "Get Started" to retrieve your login credentials. The District's passcode is AGSD18.
