Last month we shared many of the efforts our district took to support our community. I need to highlight one more: thank you School 5!

School Five's National Elementary Honor Society was able to fill 25 boxes of canned goods to the South Jersey local food bank. They donated the goods to families throughout this holiday season. We are so proud of the of generosity School Five and the hard work of the NEHS students to make this all possible!

This year our entire District partnered with Lindenwold Community's Project Elf. As a result, we were able to support MORE families than ever before. This year Project Elf supported 190 children.

Between Project Elf and other school sponsored efforts at PK, School 4, School 5, and Shop with a Cop, the Lindenwold School District was able to support 333 children this year during the holiday season! Our partnership with Project Elf allowed us to support 147 more children in our community this year!

On behalf of the Lindenwold School District, I would like to thank: Ms. Amber Callow, Lindenwold's Community & Inclusion Coordinator, the Lindenwold Public Schools Staff, our Lindenwold Borough Employees, the Lindenwold Police Department, Our Emergency Dispatchers, Friends of Lindenwold Library, the LHS Senior Class, Bethany Baptist Church, Ms. Brenda Roach, and the Moncreif family.

Congratulations to the National Junior Honor Society Officers at the Lindenwold Middle School. The "Light of Knowledge" was passed on to our new President, Lola Garcia, our new Vice President, Larissa Rocha, and our new Secretary, Glenda Ford. The students in NJHS exhibit leadership, scholarship, collaboration, and service. We are so proud of our outstanding Lions!
Lindenwold's 2nd Annual Shop with a Cop was a HUGE success. It was great to partner with several other communities, too. Students enjoyed a hearty breatkfast so they had fuel to shop, shop, shop! Santa Claus definitely had his hands full with so many beautiful, amazing children!

This month we spread some December Spirit as we counted down to the New Year! There were different themes on different days throughout the month. Students and staff seemed to have a good time having a little fun.
