Zach Berger Resigns

After having been on leave since October, Zach Berger has resigned from RILINK in order to focus on his work at the Cranston Public Library and to continue contributing to various committees on which he serves. Zach joined RILINK in 2010 and was instrumental in RILINK’ s growth over the years. Among his many roles were managing consortium-level resource sharing initiatives and interlibrary loan, training and troubleshooting in the use of Follett Destiny, developing the RILINK website and administering LibGuides CMS, delivering professional development, and being involved in all aspects of the annual 2-day member summer conference. Behind the scenes Zach was instrumental in developing RILINK’s Strategic Plan. We will miss his professionalism and especially miss his kindness, encouragement, and support for all RILINK members. Best wishes for your future endeavors, Zach!

RILINK's Professional Learning and Technology Support Specialist Is Leaving

Sharon Webster is resigning her position as RILINK's Professional Learning and Technology Support Specialist effective August 1, 2022. She will continue to be available to assist the RILINK Staff with Springshare Products through the end of the calendar year. During her 12-year tenure, Sharon facilitated summer conferences and professional learning sessions during the school year. She enjoyed working with individual members to meet their professional learning needs for all the platforms provided by RILINK, but her passion was helping them develop their library sites using LibGuides CMS. She is grateful for the "honorary librarian" status granted her by members.
